Keystone Shipping Co. is committed to protecting our national heritage and maintaining a safe and clean environment. The nature of our business demands that we be especially vigilant in avoiding pollution of the marine environment. Environmental harm due to our operations is unacceptable. Our goal of zero pollution incidents at sea across all Fleets reflects our commitment to the environment and our national heritage. Keystone Shipping Co. is committed to:

• Achieving continuous improvement in our environmental performance, supported by the development and maintenance of appropriate management systems;

• Seeking the efficient use of energy and natural resources in our activities;

• Pursuing the reduction of harmful emissions and effluents from our activities and where reasonably practicable eliminating them;

• Reducing the waste created by our activities, promoting recycling or re-use, and managing the disposal of waste in accordance with best industry standards;

• Assessing the environmental effects of any new activities, and reassessing them when there are significant changes;

• Make our vendors and contractors aware of our environmental policy;

• Recognizing the concerns of our customers, employees and the public on environmental matters and being open and informative about such policies, practices and performance;

• Contributing constructively to the development of environmental policy, regulations and standards;

• Taking reasonable steps to manage the impact of potential environmental risks such as documenting that all vessel pollution avoidance equipment function properly and are utilized as intended for environmental protection

Keystone takes pride in operating its vessels in a manner that avoids the release of pollutants into the environment through care, sound operating procedures and strict adherence to all applicable state, federal and international laws.
